The Religious Affairs Bureau is a joint operation
of the Masorti Movement and the Rabbinical Assembly of Israel. The Bureau focuses
on religious issues, questions and concerns covering the entire span of the Jewish
life cycle, including birth, Brit Milah (circumcision), Bar/Bat Mitzvah, weddings,
conversions and burial.
 The Bureau offers its services
in an atmosphere of inclusiveness and respect for the individual. It provides
information on religious observance from the Masorti/Conservative perspective
and fosters the goal of promoting Jewish religious choices in Israel. Legal advice
relating to religious issues is also available from the Movement attorneys.
